I was the friend that everyone could count on to ALWAYS have her camera at the ready. This was before cell phone cameras were actually pretty decent cameras, so the Canon Point & Shoot was always with me.
I like to look back through these albums from time to time. Most of the time it makes me miss college a little too much. But sometimes it leaves me wondering just what in the world I was thinking. The pictures below are a sampling of these. Sadly, there are more. Many, many more.
the caption on this one is "we're so thug." no you aren't, kaitlyn. and you never will be.
"this one's for you, Megan!" years later, Megan will not remember what this was about, and neither will you. Also, a photo of trash...REALLY KAITLYN?! The album for this was titled "crazy night in college station!!" crazy, that looks like it...
I'm sure your friends love you for this one. STOP PUTTING SO MANY UNFLATTERING PICTURES UP!
"umbrella likes the rain!" I have no words for this one. It came right after a picture of a stuffed owl on my boot that said "owl likes my boots!" Whyyyyyyyyy
"I like to computer it." WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN? But this does make me laugh because look how funny FB looks!! Circa 2006.
Yes, you SHOULD DEFINITELY put a photo up of you looking like a shacker with a huge booty so that people could see the snow. GREAT IDEA, KAITLYN.
60 photos of the Hornets game, and none of you and everyone who went? SURE!
so attractive. I should have been a model, OBVI.
cool hat, kait. you really knew how to get all the boys.
Oh wait, this was from last year. You obviously haven't learned much.

I love looking back at old pictures. Sometimes I am not quite sure why I did half the faces in them lol
ReplyDeleteStop it. Dying dying dying. I'm so lucky to have such a hot friend. Can't take you anywhere, for fear of getting swarmed by boyz.
ReplyDeleteI feel like college Kaitlyn and I would so have been besties. Haha
ReplyDeleteOMG. This is fantastic. I might have to borrow this idea ;) I just mentioned today on le blog how I used to take 389287529 pictures daily and upload them within minutes. That 60 photo limit was always a really asshat.
ReplyDeleteHahah- I LOVE THIS!! I'm with Ashley-- totally would have all gotten along as college freshman I bet ;) I had that same fuzzy hat, btw. AND I remember putting up a new pic of our dorm room like every time we did anything hahah- embarrasing!
ReplyDeleteI started moving those photos to "private" on facebook, as in, NO ONE can see them but me. They make me laugh all the time, but I don't need my 21 year old drunk self floating around unsupervised on the internet. I love your captions - I apparently was too lazy to add those.
ReplyDeleteAhh this is hilarious! I need to go back and look at my old fb albums... I'm sure I would find some beauties
ReplyDeleteAt least you had fun. But these ablums are just like some of mine. I've been looking back on a few of them and I am like what the nonsense.
ReplyDeleteI did the same thing- an album for everything with the 60 picture max. To be honest I want to go back and delete some of them so I don't look like the crazy person with 340683 albums. But I don't feel that bad because we were the original fb users! (oh the days when you had to have a school email!) xx
ReplyDeleteOld school facebook and all those hooties! most of my friends became teachers so all those fantastic moments of my college years have been hidden :(
ReplyDeleteStoppp. This is too much. I love it! I totally am guilty of all of this... and probably much worse! ;)
ReplyDeleteThis is so funny! Part of the reason why I deactivated my old FB was so I didn't have to see any of my old pictures anymore haha. I'm so tempted to go stalk your FB albums now ;)
ReplyDeleteI just laughed so hard at my desk!!! First I would like to point out that I really miss the old facebook (back before my mom was on it!) and secondly, your pictures are priceless!! I use to upload random pictures of everything too (obviously we were made for the world of instagram and blogs!)
ReplyDeleteYou are awesome!
I always posted 10,000 albums from Recruitment and had to tie the name into the round theme for that night. Like "I'll Take You to the Candy Shoppe" for our diabetes awareness philanthropy.
ReplyDeleteexactly how I remember facebook looking! :)
ReplyDeleteHaha I love your captions! I can only imagine what i'll think when I look back at my college pictures in a few years!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha I just literally laughed out loud at all of these pictures and captions! "Umbrella likes the rain." DYING. We definitely would have been best friends in college. I have some seriouslllyyy scary pictures too! LOVE IT.
ReplyDeleteI would've loved to have been friends with college Kaitlyn. I was the same way. I was pretty ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteI totally did the same thing!! None of my pictures were this entertaining though, lol!
ReplyDeleteLooking back at old photos always makes me laugh out loud. The captions were better than the pictures because usually you had no idea what they meant or they were just stupid! I was the exact same way, you're brave to share those on the blog haha.
