did I miss something?

OK first of all - I have determined that everyone was freaking out for no reason. I woke up thinking I missed something, why did my blogger homepage look the same when OMG EVERYONE MUST USE BLOGLOVIN NOW!? Turns out that I never used Google Reader. I just opened blogger and opened all the posts I wanted to read in separate tabs. Call me crazy, but I like to see the prettiness of everyone's blog every day. TAKE THAT BL - I don't have to use your craziness! But I guess you can still follow me on there if you want. Whatever.

Sami's Shenanigans

Moving on. Let's get this weekend update rolling! Warning :: I don't remember much of Saturday night so that part is kinda hazy. Also, I'm embarrassing and I should never drink gin again. Apparently it doesn't hit me until it HITS me. I have no clue how we got home and some of these photos I have no memory of taking. And hangovers that last ALL day should be illegal.

1 :: shrimp and grits in a martini glass, can it get any cuter? NOPE.
2 :: the haziness beings. My absolutely gorgeous SIL and the MOH
3 :: still can't get over how amazing this is - they had a painter there painting the reception scene. can I go back and do this at ours?!
4-5 :: LUCKY DOG. it doesn't get better than this.
6 :: apparently kissy faces are back in?
7-8 :: i don't remember taking these. that's me in the hotel bed with cake that I somehow ate. And can you tell how much A loves me?
9 :: BACKTRACK - us at the NKOTB concert. I'd like to go back and have BIIM sing more than five songs.

Anyways, I'm clearly in need of a new signature drink. Or maybe I should just not drink.

  3. haha I got on blogger today and was like..yep I didn't think I used Google Reader. When this whole thing started I tried importing my blogs from google reader to bloglovin' and got an error saying "you don't follow any blogs on google reader" - that's when I figured out it was different than the blogger dashboard and GFC.

  5. I had the same freak out this AM also. Who knew blogger and google reader was not the same? I also was scared that I lost all my followers. Yep, still there too.

DYING over all of your saturday night pictures, we seem to have a very similar reaction to pop up hot dog stands

  7. Hahaha Andre' looks terrified. Taylor always does that in pictures when I'm drunk. It's super rude. I am not scary, I am SEXAY when I am blackout. Duh. Also I use Google Reader for everything so I am in mourning & you are a slore for thinking it is not a big deal. IT IS A BIG DEAL.

  8. I never used google reader either and I'm not that big of a fan of Bloglovin... I pretty much do the same thing you do or just type in the blog address in my address bar. I never knew kissy faces went out of style?

  12. Thank you for pointing out what actually changed about Google Reader. I could not figure it out for the life of me. And I'm right there with. I have never once read a post in that thing - much rather see the pretty page itself!

Looks like you had an awesome weekend. I wanhted a donut truck at our wedding, but now I think we need a hot dog stand too!

  13. Oh you gotta love the morning after a good blackout when you wake up and are scared to check your phone for any photos or text evidence. In college I used to just delete everything without looking because then it didn't even happen. I'm smart I know.

  15. Apparently, I was born and raised under a rock. I never even knew the damn difference b/w google reader and the dashboard. I ALWAYS read from the dashboard. I'm glad my life can go on as normal. I don't dislike bloglovin' I don't guess, but I just never got into it. It's so easy to just read from my dashboard since I'm in there anyway.

  16. Well aren't you the hottest of hot hot messes I've ever seen. And I just LOVE YA FOR IT.

Now, don't get your shit together, because then that wouldn't be fun, and come visit me this month so we can get into drunken shenanigans together and terrify our husbands. 'Twil be fun, I promise you that.
