put a bow on it: there's good out there

Reading through other posts this morning just reaffirms why I blog. Those that I read have been focusing on the good, not the bad. Yes, there are bad people in this world. Yesterday's events are proof of that.

But for all the evil out there, there is SO MUCH MORE GOOD.

We could focus on the bad. We could question why this happened and who would do such a thing. But that wouldn't do us any good. Let's focus on the people who are going above and beyond to help. They are the good in this world, they are the ones who should be on the news.

We watched the coverage continuously last night. How can you turn it off at a time like that? Over and over they kept showing the footage. There's only so much of it you can take. There should be a channel dedicated to showing footage of the marathoners that kept running straight to the hospital to give blood.

Choose to be happy. Choose to look at the positive. Choose to be the good in the world.

I'll be honest, seeing that dog run through the streets made my heart pitter patter with happiness. I miss my doggies while I'm at work. And you're right: focus on the positives!!!

That was one of my first thoughts. Seeing those people running straight into the danger zone to help was just amazing. I hate there are sick people in the world but am so much more thankful that there are more good people than sick ones. Love you friend.

Goodness..if we focus on the bad like this all the time, we would all be in a dark dark place. There's so much negative in the world. Thanks for the postive outlook to remind us to focus on the good.
